Anna Elizabeth Cakes is owned and operated by Vancouver pastry student Anna Wawzonek. Although she has only been creating cakes for a short period of time, Anna's talent, passion and eye for detail has been capturing the attention of clients across the lower mainland.
"I want to provide you with something that exceeds your expectations. I want you to look at your cake and see it as more than just a cake, but a peice of art, carefully handcrafted and individually designed to fit your style and wow your tastebuds."
Anna specializes in rolled fondant, sugar flowers and gumpaste sculpting and is always up for a challenge!
Simply put, a cake should taste as good as it looks. Here is a sample of Anna Elizabeth Cakes' mouth watering flavour combinations:
Seasonal Creation:
~lemon cake filled with fresh blueberry compote and belgian white chocolate buttercream
~Vanilla bean cake soaked in a lemon simple syrup with homemade lemon curd and vanilla buttercream
~Rich chocolate cake filled fresh raspberry coulis and alternating layers of belgian chocolate butter cream and double chocolate ganache
~Vanilla bean cake soaked in raspberry simple syrup with fresh raspberry coulis and toasted coconut buttercream
~Swiss chocolate cake filled with alternating layers of hazelnut chocolate buttercream and double chocolate ganache with roasted hazelnuts

As each cake, cupcake and cookie is its own unique creation. Pricing varies greatly, but we would be thrilled to give you a personalized quote!

How far in advance do I need to place my order?
We can occasionally accommodate last minute orders, so never hesitate to contact us! As a general rule of thumb, wedding cake orders should be placed a minimum of 2 months in advance, while special occasion cakes generally require 1 month of advance notice. As each cake requires a great deal of attention, we are only able to accommodate a certain number of cakes per week to ensure a top quality product.
Can I order a cake out of your portfolio, or will you recreate one I have seen online or in a magazine?
Actually no! Each cake made at Anna Elizabeth Cakes is a completely unique creation. We are more than happy, and actually suggest that you provide us with pictures of cakes you like for inspiration , but your final design will be totally custom and totally you!
I want to have fresh flowers on my cake, will you provide them?
At Anna Elizabeth Cakes we pride ourselves on creating an entirely edible cake. Besides, some gorgeous flowers cant be placed on cake as they are toxic. Because of this, we do not place real flowers on our cakes. All of our flowers are handcrafted out of sugar, creating a totally realistic, yet edible adornment. Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is available for wedding and large event cakes. Delivery charges start at $25, so contact us with your event location and we would be happy to give you a quote. Delivery is occasionaly available for smaller occasion cakes depending on our schedule. If you are coming to pick up your cake, it will be carefully packed and ready for transportation.
A family member wants to bake my cake. Will you decorate it?
Unforutnately, this is not something we offer. However, if you want to serve that cake at your wedding, we would be happy to create a custom fake cake for you to display. This can even have an insert at the back so that you can have a cake cutting!
